Social media is all about posting compelling material and let’s face, some days you’re feeling a little more compelling than others. You want to create an on-going engaging conversation with your followers. Social media strategy requires planning your posts in advance. Create a running list of post ideas. Don’t delete them once you’ve used them but make them as done. It will not only help you build a content thread but it will save you from becoming repetitive.
Let’s say you know a trade show is coming up, add it to your potential post list. Maybe you won’t have the posts written until you’re onsite but knowing what you’ll be posting for say three days in August also gives you ideas for the days leading into the show. Don’t forget post-show ideas too!
